Welcome to “Plated Catering” for the NYU Community! Our mission is to provide you with exceptional quality, outstanding service, and a creative culinary experience. Our onsite Catering Team is happy to assist you with the planning of your event and can be contacted at 212-998-4690 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am. to 6:00 pm.
For events under 100 guests, a notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing at least three (3) business days prior to the day of the event. For events exceeding 100 guests, a notice of cancellation must be submitted at least five (5) business days prior to the day of the event. Events will be charged in full if these cancelation deadlines are not honored. Special consideration may be provided for weather related or natural disaster driven cancellations.
For events under 100 guests, a guaranteed guest count must be received three (3) business days prior to the event. For events exceeding100 guests, the guaranteed guest count must be received five (5) business days prior to the event.
Events are billed in four-hour increments. Events exceeding four hours may be subject to additional service fees.
Events will, depending upon building and function, include disposable and compostable plates, cups and plastic ware. Upgraded disposables and china are available upon request for an additional fee.
Plated Catering is happy to accommodate most dietary preferences and allergy restrictions. However, if you are unsure or have any special requests, please do not hesitate to contact the Catering Team at 212-998-4690.
Plated Catering is committed to providing a healthy and safe event environment. The following guidelines must be adhered to when organizing and hosting any University event where alcohol is served:
Basic linen will be provided at no charge for all food and beverage displays. Linen for seating tables, registration tables, or any other linen needs or upgrades can be provided and will be charged to the event.
All internal NYU events are considered to be tax exempt. External groups not associated with NYU must provide a current certificate of Tax Exemption.
